The Liberian blood donor community (LibDoc) was born out of a dire necessity. When accident victims, cancer patients, surgical candidates, and numerous others confronted with medical emergencies requiring blood, the gravity of the situation became clear. Understanding that blood isn’t a commodity one can simply purchase from a store and has witnessed the loss of precious lives. It was then that we resolved to guarantee the availability of this invaluable life-saving resource.
